Halloween legend: scary story

Lots of us have heard legends about Halloween, but not one like this. *STOP READING THIS NOW OR THE LEGEND WILL HAPPEN TO YOU*

If you're reading this now, it's too late. You might as well finish reading this because the legend's already going to happen to you. On Halloween night, whether you're collecting candy or giving out candy, you'll see a person, about the size of a grown man, walking down the street that you are on. If you are giving out candy, he'll say 'trick or treat". if you're collecting candy, he'll come up to you and ask for a piece of your candy. he'll be wearing a much too realistic monster costume of some sort. If you don't give him candy, he will cut you up and eat you. If you do give him candy, he'll thanks you, then drag you off to his "house". There he will tell you that if you could spare one piece of candy, you don't need any at all. He'll tie you up and starve you.

There's only one way to get out of this. Give him two pieces of candy. If he is in a good mood, which he is on some days, he will walk away. If he is in a bad mood, he'll take you to his house, starve you, and when you're about to die, he'll cut you up and eat you. There's no way to tell whether he is in a good or bad mood.

If you are handing out candy and he knocks on your door, you must answer it. If you don't, he'll break in and  then kill you.

Bury mary (scary story)

Once, a long time ago, when the doctors didn't know much because of the lack of technology, there was a girl names Mary.

Mary lived in a small house with her mother. Her father had died when she was three, seven before this story took place.

One day, Mary got very sick, and fell into a coma.  The doctor thought she was dead, and he arranged for her to be buried.

Mary was buried in a cemetery not far from where she lived.

The day after Mary was buried alive, a friend of her's came to visit Mary's grave. While her friend was there, Mary awoke from from her coma and realized where she was. She began scratching at her coffin rapidly. Her friend left, not able to hear the scratching.

After hours of scratching Mary began to run out of air. Right when she did her mother showed up. Mary scratched a few more times and managed one for scream. Then she curled up in the corner and died.

Her mother thought she had heard the scream, so she god the police for her town and had her daughter unburied.

When they opened the coffin, there were scratch marks on the lid, and Mary's fingers were bloody and short from scratching and punching.

Chucky: scary story

a little girl had been doing very well in school. her parents decided to let her get a doll from the store as a reward. there were barbies and lots of pretty dolls, but she chose to get a clown doll holding up 3 fingers. her house had 4 stories and she left her doll on the first. then she went to the fourth floor where her bedroom was and got in bed. then a while later she heard, "I'm on the second floor" she called for her parents and they told her to go back to sleep. then she heard "I'm on the third floor" she called again for her parents but they said the same thing. then she heard "I'm on the fourth floor" she called for her parents and they came and told her to be quiet and go to sleep. she heard "I'm at the door" she started screaming but her parents wouldn't come. "I'm on your dresser" they still wouldn't come. "I'm on your bed" and then the doll killed her.

a while later the girl's parents were at the store and they were in the toy aisle. they saw the exact same clown doll, except this time holding up 4 fingers*

*the number of fingers the doll is holding up is the number of people he has killed

thirteen steps: scary true story

The 13 Steps down to hell were located in Maltby Cemetery in Washington. There used to be a staircase that began at ground level and descended down under the earth. It was said to be low-grade entrance to the tomb of a wealthy local family.
According to the legend, you had to go to the cemetery late at night and walk down these 13 steps. While descending the steps, you wouldn’t be able to hear anything. Once you had reached the bottom, if you turned around, you would be confronted by a vision of hell.
They say that the vision would drive you insane. Those who watched people performing this ritual said that they witnessed the person stop at the bottom, turn around and then collapse to their knees in horror. According to some reports, several children emerged nearly comatose from the steps, many of them never uttered another word.
The 13 steps no longer exist. As the story goes, they were bulldozed or filled in with concrete years ago. Since then, there have been severe No Tresspassing limitations on the cemetery and even rumors of kids making expeditions late at night to Maltby Cemetery, armed with shovels, hoping to unearth the 13 steps down to hell.
“My girlfriend and I wanted to see this for ourselves. You have to go down these thirteen steps and then you see a little chair. If you sit in the chair it automatically means that you have sold your soul to the devil. It sounds really creepy. I was at church with my friend and his pastor said that he went there when he was 16 years old and it was the worst experience of his entire life”.
“A group of us headed out to the cemetery in Maltby. We made sure we got there as close to midnight as possible. After about an hour of searching around in the dark, we finally found it. The 13 steps. In the moonlight, you couldn’t see the bottom. We tried using a flashlight and we still could not see the bottom. It was frightening and one of the girls was so freaked out that she couldn’t even look down into the staircase. I decided I was going to go for it, but as I walked down the first two steps, I started to feel a sick.
After the next two steps, I felt light-headed. When I got to the sixth step, I became so cold that I could barely breathe and I could hear muffled yelling and screaming. I was not going any further. I couldn’t even take the next step. When I turned to climb back up, I could feel something pushing on my back and I couldn’t see out up to my friends clearly. When I finally reached the top of the staircase, I realized the yelling and screaming was coming from my friends.
They were screaming that I had disappeared when I went down. I am six feet tall. I couldn’t have been out of sight after having only gone down halfway down. Needless to say, we were all completely freaked out and got out of there as quickly as possible. To this day, every now and then, I dream about the 13 steps that lead down to hell and I always wake up in a cold sweat”.
Note: There is also a “13 Steps” cemetery in Palo called Pleasant Ridge cemetery. There is a set of stairs leading up to the cemetery gate that has 12 steps. But at night, a 13th step is said to appear.
